The County hopes to have full membership access to the building available again, as soon as possible.

Current memberships will continue to be honored, however all automatic withdrawals from members’ bank accounts will stop after Thursday, September 14, 2017.  Your automatic payment paperwork will need to be updated due to the change in ownership of the facility. We will be in contact with you about that new process.

Also during the transition time, there will be no gun or bow rentals or ammunition available for purchase.

The County is still in the process of establishing the Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center Advisory Board that will oversee the facility and its operations.  The County is seeking applicants for several positions on this board, including: one (1) 4-H Leader and/or Extension Board member; one (1) 4-H Shooting Sports Board member; one (1) archery range volunteer; one (1) pistol range volunteer; and one (1) community at-large member.  If you have an interest in serving on this board, please contact Commission Department Director Stacy Steffensen to receive application information at 605-696-8205, by email at ssteffensen@brookingscountysd.gov, or here.
The deadline to submit applications has been extended to Friday, September 29, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support of the Outdoor Adventure Center.
