Vehicle: Freightliner semi with trailer, damage $10,000 
Property damaged: guardrail leading to bridge

On the above date and time, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office and South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the above location for a semi which had rolled over and the driver was injured. It was found wind from the strong storm cause the vehicle to tip on its side. Once on its side, the vehicle then slid and impacted the guardrail and bridge causing damage to the guardrail. The driver, Timothy Johnson, 58 from Salem, SD was taken to the hospital by a passerby for unknown injuries. The semi is estimated to have sustained $10,000 damage and the damage to the bridge and guardrail is still being estimated.
