August 24, Thursday morning Brookings County will close 201st Street between 473rd and 475th Avenues to replace 2 bridges. August 28, Monday morning Brookings County will close 204th Street between 465th and 466th Avenues to repair the bridge.
Wednesday August 23, 2017:
Bridge contractor will tentatively begin work on 2 bridge replacements on 201 street between 473 and 475 Ave. The road will be closed during construction. Hopefully it will only take approximately 3 weeks.
When the contractor is finished with the 2 bridges on 201 street they will move to a replacement on 462 Ave. between 200 and 201 Street. Again that portion of road will be closed during construction.
The last bridge construction will be on 204 street between 465 and 466 Ave. west of the 4 way stop at Bruce.

Preservation Work to Begin on Bridge #06-143-080On August 7th preservation work will begin on bridge #06-143-080 located on 204th Street, 0.08 miles east of 468th Avenue. One, 11 foot driving lane will be left open for the duration of the project. Traffic will be stopped at each bridge end during construction making travel slow.
