Occurred: Sometime between 9/2/2023 and 9/23/2023

Location: Gravel pit on 203A St near 476th Ave

On the above date and time, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took a report of mining equipment being damaged. It was found, sometime between 9/2/2023 and 9/23/2023 an unknown suspect(s) entered the property, then cut and removed several large diameter wires used to power the equipment. Total damage from this incident is still being calculated. This incident remains under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
