Location: Building site on 32nd St S near 34th Ave S, Brookings

On the above date and time, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took report of copper wiring being taken from mining equipment. It was found, an unknown suspect(s) entered the property and removed large diameter wiring from mining equipment. The value of the stolen wire is estimated to be approx. $9,000. This incident remains under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
